Question by Elisabeth L: Have any of you Crohn’s patients also sufferred from rosacea? If so, how did you treat the skin disorder?
My teen-aged daughter (a Crohn’s patient) seems to have red, blotchy patches on her checks and jaw. Within these patches are almost-invisible tiny bumps, that never quite go away. Her dermatologist has ruled out acne and seborrhea and doesn’t believe the condition to be eczema or psoriasis. I have seen references to IBD patients with rosacea, but have read that some of the treatments can bring on Crohn’s “flares”. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.
