Foundation brush- how to clean it completely?

Question by Lola De Leon: Foundation brush- how to clean it completely?
Yesterday i had bought an Estee Lauder Foundation brush(1) and some Clinique Brush Cleaner. There are still some stains of liquid foundation on the tips, how do i completely get rid of them? Or am i not cleaning it right? Do they come off completley? This is the 1st time i ever use brush cleaner and clean brushes. i’m used to using my fingers for liquid and a pad for powder.
I use Clinique Perfectly Real liquid foundation-it is oil free.

I just use warm water and hand soap. My brushes are good quality from mac, and this has always worked really well.

Winter Foundation Routine

Hey guys! ‪I’m the type of person who dislikes how most liquid foundations look and last on me. If you think about it most foundations focus towards a certain look (eg dewy, matte, etc). Even though I have combo/oily skin I still like my face to have a slight dewy and healthy glow. You can easily achieve that with a dewy foundation–the only problem is that those foundations are usually not long-wearing enough and can sometimes make my face look too shiny. The solution? Mix it with a long wearing matte foundation and get the best of both worlds! :) I love the combination I showcase in the video because I get good and long-lasting coverage yet my skin still looks like skin! You may have noticed that this is the foundation combo i’ve been wearing in most of my recent videos! Skin prep is just as important as the type of foundation you use! This winter season many of us need more moisture! Make sure to exfoliate and hydrate your skin well before foundation application. Question by missvictoria: What foundation is best on combination/sensitive hormonal acne skin?
I used to have oily skin. Now I have combination due to new environmental factors. What foundation would be best for my skin? I used to use oil free neutrogena acne clearing foundation, but now that just dries out my skin on my cheeks. I get hormonal acne on my cheeks, like I would say like 5 pimples or so before my monthly cycle. My skin is also sensitive and will peel and turn red in my dry areas of my skin. I have been using Clinique three step cleaning process and my skin has improved in dryness matters. I also use the even better clinical dark spot corrector from Clinique and I have just started using it. I like to use a foundation and a light powder to also cover my acne scar, but at the same time I want a product that will help with the hormonal acne. I heard oil free foundation is one of the best and hypoallergenic products.

There is no “Best” anything when it comes to skin care or cosmetic products. What matters is the formulation and your skin type. Makeup is tricky when it comes to acne. You have to experiment to see what works for you.

Try Revlon Color Stay Makeup Combination /Oily

Hi everyone! This is a requested comparison between Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and Mac’s Pro Longwear foundation. Pro Longwear Review: www.youtube.com Estee Lauder Double Wear Review www.youtube.com Both foundations claim to last up to 15 hours. Estee Lauder Double Wear is .00 and Mac Pro Longwear is .50. I forgot to mention color matching in this video- Mac Prolongwear comes in only Cool and Warm shades, while Estee Lauder Double Wear offers some Neutral Shades. Overall, the Pro Longwear probably goes darker and is better for individuals with a yellow undertone. Estee Lauder is better for someone with a very fair skin tone, or someone looking for more neutral color offering. I hope this video is helpful! Q&A: What is the best neutrogena powder foundation?

Question by : What is the best neutrogena powder foundation?
Ok I’m looking or a new powder foundation I’m 14 and was wanting one from neutrogena since it’s pretty cheap and good for your skin. So which do you think is best the skin clearing mineral powder or the mineral sheers powder foundation? I usually only have breakouts on my special time each month but their freakin annoying and sometimes leave red marks so I need something to kinda hide them. Please answer! Thx!!

I guess the skin clearing might work for you although it used the other and liked it and I get breakouts around that time too.

Also, mark. Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation is good. http://arioja.mymarkstore.com

best powder foundation!?

Question by Vanilla…: best powder foundation!?
i like to use powder foundation because its quick, easy and seems to suit my skin type.
anyway just looking for reviews on powder foundations.

ive tried

mac studio fix powder plus – amazing coverage but have to very careful with it as it can get cakey
jane iredale pressed mineral foundation – very natural not visible on the skin. but time consuming to get required coverage.
bella pierre mineral foundation – again buildable coverage but looked cakey and didnt last long on the face
youngblood pressed – looked too powdery even with just a little on so seemed to settle on top of skin rather than blending into it
virgin vie one step face base powder – not a huge colour choice. good coverage but just too cake and not lasting enough.

ones i am looking to try are cover fx’s powder foundation and estee lauder double wear powder foundation. if anyone has tried these n has opinions would be great also any others too. x
also just recently bought illamasqua’s powder foundation. seems pretty good so far.

I love MAC’s studio fix foundation, I don’t find it cakey.

Bare minerals powder foundation is really good too, you can have them put it on you and see if it suits your skin!

Not tried any others so I hope that helps a little!
