Which shampoo and conditioner are your favorite along with other products from them? I have dry hair that i dye, and i use a flat iron pretty frequently. i do not blow dry every day. its pretty straight too! looking for ideas on what shampoos to get from them =)

Answer by Emily B if you blow dry your hair, then flat iron it, Aveda smooth infusion works wonders. if you put heat on your hair, Brilliant Universal Styling cream is great&it smells delish. Dry Remedy leave in conditioner is great too, especially since you dye&use heat on your hair

Answer by DUH i went to my aunts school which is aveda and i was a model so it was only 15 dollars but like if its a rregular salon not a school it will probbobly be around 50 dollars and they are really good

Hair Wars Competition – Runway – W Hotel Scottsdale

These were models on the runway for one of the salons at the Hair Wars Competition at the W Hotel in Scottsdale. The hair on the Unicorn was interesting – it was pasted to her breasts to conceal her. The feather piece on the first model must have weighed a ton – it had a big battery pack to run the LED lights in the feathers. You can’t really see the little lights in the feathers in this photo. I have no idea what story this salon was trying to tell.
My daughter was in a make up competition. She started preparing about a month before the competition. On the day of the competition she started applying make up at 6am and just finished in time for the 9pm show.

is it really worth paying 15,000 for the aveda schools then just 1,000 at the community college.. there both just teaching the basic knowledge of what you need to pass the state board exam anyway…everyone has told me you learn more once your out of school and working at a salon…..or would i just be better off doing an aprenticship at a high end salon??

Answer by Michigan Well, in the aveda school you are going to only be working with aveda products. I’d go with aveda because of the job security, You could always work at an aveda salon y’know, job placement.
