Are all aveda products eco friendly? I read at care2 that there mascara is good but what about there skincare and hair products? Do they have lots of chemicals? Or is it all plant based? If you can could you please write in your answer the ingredients of some of there products. I’m interested in the hair detoxifier, smooth infusion style prep smoother, mascara and acne skin care. Also let me know what you think of there products.

What is the name of the Asian model in the Olay Body Wash plus Creme Ribbons TV commercial? I thought she looks familiar. I think she’s a well known model in Taiwan, but not sure.

Over the years, the United States Agency for International Development has been weakened both in terms of capacity and authorities. The Obama administration came into office with a firm conviction that global development is a key tenet of an effective and proactive foreign policy.

There are currently two major global development reviews being conducted at the National Security Council and the State Department that look to strengthen and modernize U.S. development policy. These ongoing reviews are complemented by significant legislation in both the Senate and House of Representatives that could add greater coherence and strategy to U.S. global development policy. CAP’s sustainable security program has been at the forefront of this debate and calling for a strengthening of USAID.

Please join us for a keynote by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman, Howard Berman, who will discuss the committee’s plans for reform of U.S. foreign assistance laws and programs. Chairman Berman’s remarks will be followed by a high-level panel of experts who will focus in on the Obama administration’s evolving approach to defense, diplomacy, and development.

I’ve already found vegan hair products and lotions, but I’m not sure what makeup to use. I know SOME Aveda and Revlon products are vegan, but how can I tell which ones?
What about soaps?

I use Gabriel. and a company called Purely Cosmetics. Both are 100% natural and vegan (Purely Cosmetics does have some non vegan stuff too so check the ingredients).
As for soap, right now I’m using Nubian’s African Black Soap but I like variety. I’ve also used Shikai and Hugo as well as Dr. Bronners bar soap. They are all good but Nubian is my favorite.
As for Revlon, I would simply stay away from that crap. They may have vegan makeup but they also most likely contain parabens. Try buying your makeup from your local health food store. They will have the cleanest ingredients which are also animal friendly. In fact, buying all your health and beauty products at a health food store is the easiest way to make sure they are vegan and all natural.
