I have mild-moderate depression. I’m usually pretty tired. I’ve had this five hour energy drink twice now, and both times it’s pretty much eliminated both those symptoms. For over five hours, I feel energy and want to do things instead of sit around. The depression is much less intense, if it exists at all.

I have a few questions. Is my lack of energy causing my depression or is it the other way around? The ingredients of the drink are fairly straightforward. http://www.5hourenergy.com/ingredients.asp The drink has a pretty large amount of Vitamin B6 and B12. I’ve read that the B vitamins are important for energy production, so I bought a B complex supplement today. I took one tablet about an hour ago and I’m not seeing nearly enough of a difference as the drink, not that I was expecting to.

Is the increased energy from the drink just upping my mood or is this an indicator of some vitamin or ingredient I’m missing in my diet?

Depression is an emotion that is basic to life. It is one of 6-8 that you are born with. Most of the others you learn. Vitamin deficiency is rare. A recent study by a British medical group showed no benefit to women for disease control in taking vitamin supplements. Vitamin supplements are only needed if you are on a near starvation diet which has little or no fruits or vegetables. Look up emotions in a Yahoo! web search. Wikipedia has a good summary.

If you are diagnosed with clinical depression it is probably the cause of your lethargy as I believe depression is primarily a result of a habit of negative thinking. Your lack of energy is caused by your depression and that is caused by habits of negativity. Because you think positively that drinking the energy drink is helping you that “ups your mood”.

Try “positive thinking techniques” in a Yahoo! web search study the advice given in the links and DO IT!

for the rosacea i have tried – not drinking milk or eating cheese/dairy products -prescriptionn doxycycline pills – primrose oil -chamomilee – a wide variety of different recommended vitaminin supplements – and a countless number of different creams and herbal lotions –

for the blackheads i have tried – a wide variaty of cleansing scrubs – followed by benzoyl peroxide gel 5% moved up to 10%(still using not sure if i should because of the rosacea) – biore max strengh pore strips – steaming my face – teatree oil – proactive solution

also can i get laser treatment for my rosacea even if i have blackheads?

hi, i have had this since my early adult years. The only things that helps is drinking lots of water, and washing your face with neutrogena acne soap twice a day, followed by clean and clear lotion.
