Vitamin B5 is a member of the water soluble family of B complex vitamins. It is necessary for a variety of life sustaining reactions such as generating energy from food and synthesizing essential fats. Vitamin B5 is also important for our adrenal glands and our reactions to stress.
Vitamin B5 is safe to take in large doses, and is often used to support adrenal hormone function.

B5 deficiencies are extremely rare.

Sources include organ meats, eggs, fish and shellfish, poultry, soybeans, lentils, split peas, milk, yogurt, avocado, and mushrooms
