Question by itsmylife: Can Optizinc, also known as Zinc Monomethionine, substitude Antibiotics completely in the treatment of Acne?
From the forums in Acne.org and some others forums, I found out that this health supplement alone can provide the same effect as antibiotics for acne. Also, unlike vitamin B5, one does not need to mega dose on this supplement. How many of you have positive results with optizinc?

This sounds weird, but the best way to treat acne is to put egg yolk on your face and leave it for about 15 minutes. Wash the egg off gently with warm water then wash your face with a gentle soap, like burt’s bees. Then you ALWAYS need to go over your face with an ice cube. This will close your pores so they wont clog. Then you use a mosterizer, burt’s bees is the best brand. You can do this everyday till the acne goes away then about twice a week. Even when you don’t use an egg, make sure to go over your face with an ice cube everytime you wash it or get out of a hot shower.

    Hi,

it’s important to inform yourself first before buying the wrong solution. Products like e.g. accutane or proactiv (and those pills doctors prescribe) are aggressive and can cause damages to you and your skin since they contain harmful ingredients.

Your best bet would be to check out

Make sure you bookmark it for future reference.

This is one of the very few products out there which really treats the acne problem at its roots from inside and out, no matter which kind of acne you have. Without damaging your skin, all natural.

I’ve literally wasted hundreds on other “miracles” but this one is highly efficient and that’s what only counts for me. It should also help you get rid of your acne in a breeze.

    Hope that helps.

    All the best,
    Melinda

Good thing I quite taking those pills. They started making me sick!
And yes, Zinc is proven to reduce acne! It’s found in seafood, poultry, nuts, wheat germ, sunflower seeds. I started taking a bag of sunflower seeds, and trail mix, and it has caused quite a difference.
